Need some advice / help

so not to long ago i had my engine rebuilt and its acting strange i was wondering if anyone could help. here is whats going on car only has about 100miles on the rebuild i took it out to get some stuff and to drive it some more because it was driving really good earlier. and it was fine then all of a sudden i would shift it and try to give it gas and it would feel dead still have rpms but no power at all then chug for a bit like its fighting or sticking or something then drive ok then stick and have no power. this is crazy idk one min its good next its bad... then all over again. i also noticed a wet spot on my radiator i think it might have a leak but i dont think that can cause the probs im having.

well thanks for looking at my post and any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!

welcome to the board! :)

please keep in mind the more specifics you provide the better someone will be able to help you.

what year?

what setup?

right sorry

its a 88 na

and the main prob is its seems like its sticking after it engages to the gears. maybe its not transferring power properly?

power transfer would probably mean clutch, and since you're describing a good-bad-good-bad power delivery, i doubt if it's clutch. a bad clutch only gets progressively worse as it heats up - plus there's usually a distinct smell.

when last did you tune it up? also, maybe check your oxygen sensor.

not to long ago on the tune up it was done right after the rebuild.

what is the best way to check the oxygen sensor?

There is also a lot of after burn popping sound out of the exhaust when not driving. ill try to get a video up in the next few days
