when you crank,
hold the gaz pedal all the way down.
dont push it many time.

also if you hold ur car at 3k rpm and turn the key off while depressing on the pedal,(this is like when you come home and are geting out of your car)when you go to start it the next time it should start with the turn of the key. RX7s flood thats that, the more you press half throtle on that pedal the more flooded it gets.
(generally)

it isn't getting enough fuel then.

when you stab the gas pedal quickly, the computer reads it and activates the "accelerator pump"...same thing as the pump on carburetors, just the computer does it with increased pulse width to the injectors.

make sure the fuel pump is getting enough voltage, change the fuel filter, clean the injectors, etc...
