friend of mine got a fc he wanted to get running, ands its been sitting for a bit. he says he has tooken off the fuel line before and tried to crank it but no gas? i would think its the pump but i could be wrong.

I was wondering if the fel pumps have a tendancy to go bad? Also is there any other possibility that it couldbe something else like the fuel pump relay? sorry about the virginityy to this 13b motor but any insight is appreciated.

 

I would test the fuel pump relay as I have seen many cars go the crusher over the years over a 50.00 relay...

also check to see if the relay is even pluged in???
This relay is bolted to the steering column on the right it is black with a yellow bottom..
you can also test the pump too by taking it out of the car and hooking it up to 12V

if the pump works than it is the relay...

BTW what year is the car???
