HELP!!! No Compression

Ater one day of my FC sitting in the shop all they know is that my engine is getting plenty of spark and fuke but there is no compression. They are waiting on new diagrams to help them I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

My 1st thought was it might have been apex seals

I started my car drove it into the grage at about midnight, ran fine. Tried to start it the next day and it didn't start.

that link about flooding isnt working for me...

r1dreamer 07-11-04 01:08 AM

take the upper intake manifold off and pure ATF yes automatic transmision fluid into the intake...let it sit for awhile than try cranking the motor. it seems that you have too much fuel and all the seals dried up... pull out all injectors and make sure they;re not stuck open...this had happened to me while steve kan was tuning my car.

back to the ATF...after trying to crank the motor pure more fluid in as you need, i needed a quart and a half, hopefully you wont need that much. o and while cranking pull the fuse for the fuel under the hood. its one of the big green fuses. you cant have fuel going into the motor at the same time. you also might want to pull one spark plug from each rotor to prevent vapor lock if the fuel was what dried the seals.\

once you hear the compression come back in the one rotor you can put the spark plugs back in and try to drive around...that should free up the other rotor..

I'll see about that 2mrow, so just put ATF in take out fuel fuse the try crfanking w/o spark plug, see if it start then try driving a, hmmmm worth a try, it defiity is flooded now the spark plugs smell like straight fuel

wwilliam54 07-11-04 11:42 AM

replace the spark plugs after the atf treament too

r1dreamer 07-11-04 12:55 PM

yes do that and of course change the plugs...not sure how much atf your goibn to need i used a quart and a half so...once you here the compression coming back, put the plugs back in and she should start up again...your car will be smoking for a couple of hours too dont worry thats normal...

Kenteth 07-12-04 12:02 AM

Ok... I can be serious, any luck getting that unflooded?

t-von 07-12-04 02:09 AM

Hey guys, hasn't it been proven that ATF is bad for the rotor oil seals?
