HELP! engine stall

my 94 FD is keep stalling when the headlight turned on. but normal when it is off. is that means the ALT is bad? the battery is new.

help

disconnect either of the battery terminals...If it shuts off,that means u need a new alt...Good Luck.

CHINX74RX2, checked the alt this morning, it works find. if i set the idle to 1.5krpm, the car will not stall when headlight is on. so confuse.
