FD doesn't start when turning key slow?

When i try starting my fd it wont start if i turn the key normally. I have to have it in the off position, and then crank it really fast and sometimes it still wont even try to crank itll just make a little noise. Any ideas?

Check the ground behind the A/C compressor to the frame. If not you need a starter.

Have you checked or bypass the alarm relay yet?

No I haven't tried that! Where would I find the alarm relay? How would I bypass it?

Also another question, would a bad battery cause my starting problem? I'm asking because its reading around 11.5v after sitting for a while and when it's cold (or been sitting a while) and that's when I'm having the problem with the click click start. But when its warm it doesn't seem to have that issue, and the batteries reading in the 12's after a drive for a while. So would that be my issue? If it's not the alarm, and if it's not the battery it would have to be the starter solenoid/starter correct?

What you need to keep in mind is your CCA not only your volts. You can have a battery with good volts but poor CCA. I will post pics on the reply to add a jumper.
