engine

hey guy i got an 89 non turbo and i cant figure out why the engine cranks so my some time she will starts and right away die, some times she will crank then start, but most of the time she will start and right away die after a couple of time doing it the she finaly starts.


please help!!!!!!

hey guys sorry bout my first post it was one of my guys that posted that one , but anyways let me refrace it.


i got a 89 non turbo
she won't starts up properly she cranks a few times before making an attempt to start;
she might star for a FEW seconds but then dies again. this goes on for bout a minute before she starts and actually runs but even then she is rough.

i hope this makes a little bit more sense!!!!!!

does this happen after you run it for a short time?


it could be flooded when this happens which is a well known problem


when you do run your car try to let it warm up or drive it for no less than 10 minutes

i guess that would make sense but how do i get the right fuel mixture so she wont flood ?
