Conversion too ??
Hi all
Newbie here and I have a question. I have a '82 GS that has been on blocks in my shop since 1990 and have recently thought of driving it again. Has not been cranked for 13 years so I know I will probably have problems getting it to run. At the same time I have had some thoughts of maybe installing a vortec v6 to replace the rotary. Has anyone done something like this? Maybe somone from California? The reason I say California is when I quit rodding years ago, it seemed that tech shops there had made wiring harnesses to convert anything to anything else.
Anyhow it seems like a good idea. Any thoughts or comments?
