Comp. Test Question

Any tips on how to do a compresion test on a rotary engine that is not in a car? I'm guessing that I'd need to hook a battery up to the starter to get it spinning. Any tips?

All You Need Is A Tranny Housing With Starter, And A Battery.

Jumper cables from the battery to the engine. Negative to the block, (stater mounting bolt), positive to the outboard lug on the starter, jumper wire from that lug to the spade terminal on the solenoid.
