Checking CAS, no trigger!

I may have fried either my CAS or my Haltech. Would rather confirm its my CAS than send the Haltech off to OZ to find out its the CAS. I did a bone head move on Sunday and accidently shorted positive to chassis ground. Now I have no trigger. I have narrowed it down to one of the above. Haltech works fine other than trigger. I do not show any rpm's when cranking on Haltech. Will not start. Any proceedure for checking CAS for function? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Come on guys, there must be somebody that knows how to quickly check a CAS. I suppose if you know the Haltech is good, the CAS is the problem. So how do I confirm that I have a signal coming from the Haltech?

If you have the FSM, use a volt meter to check the ohms in the plug. You can down load the factory service manual at www.fc3s.org if you don't have it already. Basically, you hold the plug coming off the CAS and look straight down into it (while its unplugged from the car). You have to hold it so that the tab away from you. (The tab on the outside of the harness, that clicks into the other harness when you plug the CAS in). Now that you have it oriented the right way, check the resistence between the two left plugs. Should be between 110 and 210 ohms. Now do the two on the right side. Same ohms. 110-210.

hope that helps
