Body Work

i haven't seen much discussion on body work - seems most of the members here are mechanics, and not body men.

would love to find tips/pointers on how to do own body work since that gets more expensive than an engine rebuild, and it's the most visible part of your vehicle.

i know Evercoat is a good filler, as is All-Metal or Metal-to-Metal. although "new & improved" bondo is supposedly much better these days, i'd still hate to put that on my car.

let's talk about paint strippers, metal prep, and acid etch. types of primers (i prefer PPG) and clearcoat/basecoat, polyurethane, enamel, lacquer, etc...

you know what? It would probably do good to have a "body work/Car care" section. To talk about body work, or washing/waxing, etc..

I think you posted before the crash, right? Did you happen to catch what I responded with?
