anyone know how to wire up 2 MSD's to the trailings(FC)?

I got 3 MSD 6a's and I know the boxes are just IN and out..
I need info on how to wire the trailing coils with one box per plug.
So 1 box to leading and 2 for trailings.
On a 88 S4 N/A.
..anyone got any info,wire colors..etc
Thanks..STYX!~
(don't ask why I am doing it.I just am..because I can!)

you may have had better luck asking in the Racing section.

It's not a Racing car though....lol!.
It's an N/A....Japanese..General REE.
where's Kooter,he'd know about this..lol!

Cooter? who gives a tiger's tit where Cooter is ... i'm lookin' for Daaai-zeh! :D

but seriously, I tried searching around and it seems the only thing people post about is wiring it to the leading coil. I guess it makes sense though.

at any rate, i'll see if I can dig up my schematic of the trailing coil and my old wiring diagram for my 6AL. it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. my guess is it will go something like wiring the boxes to the coils per usual and using the coil select (I forget which color wire) to trigger them.

oh, and even if I fail to find my MSD diagrams (it's been about 20 years :(), i'm pretty sure I saw a generic MSD 6A schematic on Ted's site (FC3 Pro or something like that).

the trailing coil wiring:

black = tach signal (?)

yellow = IGF (?)

gray = (?) - [i'll have to double check this to see if I can figure it out]

white = coil select

red = IGT (trigger)

beige (tan) = +12v switch

beige (tan) = +12v switch

blue = T2 ground

Well I shouldn't need the trigger...only just separate the boxes and coils To individually get Power into the box from the harness and then out to the coils.
ah..I'll take a peek while I am painting.
