90 n/a. rpm break up around 3grand and higher
 
1990 n/a fc. rpm break up at 3grand. the code comes on 20minutes after running. engine codes i got were
01 trailing ignition coil malfunction of spark plug, broken wire, short circuit Trailing side ignitions pulse cut .

08 airflow meter (AFM) broken wire, short circuit basic fuel injection amount and fixed timing .

these are the only 2 codes that matter.
all the reset are emmision and omp cause there all gone. i replaced the trailing coil pack,air mas sensor, air flow meter, injector relay, all these parts work. reset the battery everytime i changed a part. still comes on after 20 mins. before the light comes on the car runs 100%. if i turn the car off while the check engine is on. and turn it back on the code dissapers for 20 mins. im going crazy to figure out this problem. tps is good. any sugestions are helpful. thank john.

it seems like the spark is breaking up. plugs are good and are the wires

Is the problem frequent? or just all the time?

I had an 89 GTU that wouldnt go over 3k alot, i swapped my TPS sensor and my ECU just to see if it would do anything and it fixed my problem. But im not sayign go out and change them. If you have a buddy with the same ECU, swap them and see if anythign changes.

Your OMP is not hooked up and laying to the side? That is one cause for limp mode. The ECU will not operate correctly if that is missing from the 89-91 models.
