48 IDA on stock port
Is anyone running a weber 48IDA on a stock port 12a if so what are the pros and cons of this thanks in advanced for any info

Never on a stock port engine but that won't matter. The IDA can be tuned for everything from stock ports to whatever port you dare run. The venturi size that comes with the IDA is a good place to start (IIRC 37mm I forget) for your 12A on the street. It might be a little touchy just off idle.
The only con, beside that fact its a carb, is no choke. With a little foot work for about a minute this can be dealt with though. |

What do you mean by little foot work? it runs bad off cold start untill running temp is achived? i figured it could be tuned if neccesary i hope it makes a nice difference Thanks |
Yes, just keeping the RPM's up with your foot until it warms up.
