12a Bridge Carby Question

Hey I live in New Zealand, we have a great rotor scene here.
My question is this, I have a 12a Bridgeport running electronic ignition and a holley blue fuel pump, but I dont know what jets I should be running in my carb
Its a standard Nikki 4 barrel but its got mechanical secondaries, I dont want to run the motor becuase it is going to be way to lean.
Has any body have a rough idea what size primary and secondary jets I should be running? and also if there is any other mods that should be made to the carb
Here in New Zealand we dont have any emisions standards for cars so im looking for max preformance

Thanks in advance
dylan

Can you change the jets for the Nikki? I believe not. For a BP you'd better get an aftermarket carb. Weber 48 for example

Ive heard that they drill the carb so that it can take the bigger size jets, its a common and cheap way to go

the nikki will be too small for a bridge. you can use it but it beats the purpose of having a bridge port. in fact, we have use move up to a webber 51 ida, from a 48ida. You can get away with a holley but the ida's are much better to use. Easier to change parts such as venturies, jets etc etc.

sweet thanks for that, guess I will have to start saving my $$$ for an IDA, theyre real expensive here
