After I proted out the wastegate holes, I took some more material off of the top of the flap-door and also the inside face of the wastegate cover plate. You can see the more reflective spots where the metal was taken off. I figure this gives the flap-door another 1cm to travel before it hits the backplate. We'll see how it works.
