Final stop was at Historic Fort Langley, a Hudson's Bay Company outpost built about 1830. We were hogging the tour bus parking spot, but the tourists did not seem to mind. I was surprised to discover statue behind the cars commemorates "The Beaver", the first steamship on the Westcoast. My Great-Grandfather was the engineer on that ship.
