Mazda Stock radio Model "IM30" taken from a Protege, but possibly also appeared in the Miata, in period. Bin is from the Protege, and feature a release lever, allowing non-damped drop forward of lid. The "push to release" type lid, sometimes seen in the FD allows for a damped drop down, but the mechainsm is more prone to breaking, and will not stay flushly closed. I have two 1.5 inch gauges in the bin behind the lid.
