is that just regular driving or are you trying to get flames. also, why does it sound like crap. i know there is a thread about the 7 sounding like a beefed up weed eater, but i thought it was a slight exageration. what kind of exhaust you running?

The reason I filmed it was because of the flames. I've pretty much got the method down pat for shooting flames, almost at will. Be it at WOT or on decel.
The. "let me out." is my actually girlfriend, and to film it was part of her idea. I like messing with digital video/digital editing as one of my hobbies.
I've got a ton of different footage that I'm working on, and eventually may put it on a DVD. Including stuff like this that is at different or strange angles. I've got a whole bunch of good stuff including high speed runs, but since I've been laid off I don't have broadband anymore to share with everyone.

I rather like the tone of my exhaust. The reason it sounds like crap in this case is because I wasn't running a sepreate mic, along with wind and other brackground noise.
My exhaust setup consist of a ASP Race Exhaust/Borla XR1 with an ATR Jet-Hot coated downpipe.
Think of the ASP exhaust as the HKS Ti Racing exhaust except years before the HKS came out. While the exhaust is only SS, and 3" it has a minamal bend and covers everything from downpipe back into one straight thru light weight exhaust system. This with the fact the my muffler is a Borla XR-1 racing muffler, which has a complete straight thru design, and you get some serious sound and flames!
Ask many of the guys that race 7's and you'll find out the run the XR-1 on their 7's to reduce the noise of the beast without effecting exhaust flow. Some run them in midpipes other like myself run them at the end of the exhaust.
Maybe later I'll post some good audio of my exhaust at idle, WOT, etc....

Yeah it flames pretty good.
Here's what the tip looks like on for a rare few hours after I wash it for 7 events or car shows.

My tip sits a lil further out than most, so I don't melt the bumber!

Frankly I'm ashamed that I have it installed on my machine. I'm sure Toadman could install QT if he were so inclined, but I think he's trying to say that quicktime is too lame to bother with. And he's right.
