Fast and Furious FD getting a little facelift cause of booboo!

My friend called my the other day and said come down here and see the car......didn't look the same as it does in the movie or the mags. Had a little accident taking it out of the trailer at a show. He's getting it repainted and fixed to be done for the SEMA show.....should look pretty good when it's done. It's the same guy who did my girls car and is going to touch up mine....

OUCH....
if it doesnt get the same kit put back on, it will probably get a C West kit =P it actually looks pretty good without all that vinyl and decal crap on it... cant say i like thr rims though, but it looks ok. and it DOESNT have that Nos install like the movie?!? That was awesome! dang.... dang special affects and crap in the movies... well than tell that guy to ge another race seat in the passenger side cuase it looks really bad with only one race seat!
heh

It doesn't even have a race seat......it has both tan leathers in it. Must be saving the seat for shows

It's gonna go back the same exact way that it was....the kit is already in. You can't see it from the pics but the side moldings and the rear bumper are all molded into the body. Not a bad job.....but the paint is a little poopy. I hope I don't make the owner mad.....it will look better at SEMA cause AL will hook it up proper!

What wing is that on your girls car? It looks like the PFS style with out the wing extensions going down the side of the car.
I like it.

Is that the racing beat type 1 wing?

Yes it's the Racing Beat.......the person we got it from said it was the PFS wing.....but I think it looks more like the RB.

We just picked up her car off EBAY a couple of months ago and sent it straight to the paint shop. Now I have the fun task of rebuilding the car from the ground up. Almost every nut and bolt and clip will be replaced back to factory spec(actually a little better than that). The car looks really clean.....he sprayed everything! I should have it back together in about 2 months (read years).

My girl and I are going to driving school so she can start driving the car next season (my car which is being set up with about everything you can think of as we speak). It should be interesting to say the least. When you see a girl racing a silver 7 next season that'll be us

I think no spoiler is better than the Veilside spoiler. but I definitely prefer a spoiler on the FD.

The reason I don't like that car, isn't because it's not as bad *** as the movie shows. It's not single turbo, it's not street ported, it's just BPU, I think. Whereas the Supra in the movie is really a sweet ride.

My poopy wing.....boo hoo hoo

think it might be up for sale......I got it when noone had it......I mean noone! My friend is a Veilside dealer and he had the 2nd one brought in......I guess it's like a computer......go to the store and buy one and on the way home you find out it's outdated.

What happened to his decal on sides and hood?

And where do you get things like that? Is there an online catalogue? I quite like the silver shrapnel up the hood

Just to let you know that is the PFS wing, not the racing beat.

It's definitely not The Racing Beat Type 1, but close.

Does anyone know what the specs for that car were or have a link to a site on it? I remember not being terribly impressed...but I'm still curious.
