RX7 93+ Info

Hi, I`m new to the rotary world. I have been invloved with Honda/Acura racers for quite a while but I now want to try out a lovely 3rd gen RX-7.

Here is my Question:
I am shoping around for an RX7 3rd gen but since I am not familiar with these vehicles I don`t know what I should be watching out for? Any recomendations? Also I see a few with new engines...is this because rotary`s tend to break down faster than traditional piston engines?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
