Finally, after 2 months of contemplation, I already installed my autometer's temp sending unit to the water pump housing. It looks really good especially after I painted it. It appears like the adapter I JB welded is part of the housing. I like it !!!!

 

Here is a side view so you can see how much space it took from inside. There's plenty of room.

I was about to do that but I have a mechanical temp and the bulb is huge. It doesnt fit anywhere but the radiator or the hose. I guess Ill have to replace it sooner or later.

 

i put mine on the back, just below the thermosensor.
