Thumping is probably my wasted shocks...

The shocks on my 7 are beyond trashed. They leak, they were used when I got them and they've been on there 2 years. I've priced some Tokico Blues but I'm a little ways away from getting them.

Anyway, here's what's causing my latest series of 7-related heart attacks.

If I'm driving down a straight road and I pass over a rough spot (not washboard, just a length of bumpy pavement) the rear end POUNDS like a snare at a military parade. It stops when I get back on smooth pavement, but still, Holy ****!

Also, if I'm going through a turn, be it a corner at an intersection or a long turn, with power to the wheels and I pass over a bump the rear end JUMPS to the outside.

I'm assuming that my rear shocks are just totally failing to keep my tires on the road, but I'm not 100% certain. Any comments?
