WTF?

I noticed when i fill up all the way... gas leaks from the gastank and alittle in the spare tire well. I went under the car, hit the gas tank a few times and i noticed gas squirting out of a hole in the spare tire well.

Someone drilled a hole straight through the spare tire well into the gastank now there is a puddle of gas in the gap between the gastank and the chassis.

Going into the shop on friday to plug up the holes

Anyone have a reason to drill that hole? or was the previous owner just trying to set my car on fire?

 

Hard to drop the tank on FDs?

 

Hard to say as people have the craziest ghetto rigged **** in their cars sometimes.


Could of been an amp of speakers of some sort as well.

probably someone either relocating their battery or mounting an amp

 

there could have been a problem wih water gathering in the wheel well.

so the dumbass thought they'd drill a hole to leak water.

into the fuel tank...

And talking to the previous owner.... he said the owner before him had a intensce stereo... so it was probably for amps.

 

Get some silicon or some heavy duty sealer asap man! 20 gal of 93 is no joke when lit! Seriously what a dumbass, drill = friction, friction = heat!
