aftermarket speedometer installation questions??

Hey guys,
So Im wanting to put in an aftermarket Speedometer in my car. Its an autometer in dash carbon fiber faced Speedometer. part #105-4789 from Jegs.com. Basically im doing it because I have way to many aftermarket gauges mounted around the interior (oil press. oil temp. water temp. wideband. dual EGT. air temp. boost. and a tach.). So im making a gauge pod to go where the stock gauge cluster goes out of sheetmetal. Well, the gauge im looking at is an electronic gauge. Now since the FC has a speedo cable rather then electronic, autometer sells a sender to convert for the older style cable driven speedos to electronic. Jegs has two of them. A GM/chrysler sender- 7/8"-18 thread hall effect sender and a Ford Sender, Plug-In Hall Effect Sender.

Would either of those work for our application?? Anyone ever hooked up an aftermarket speedo before? Ive searched and didnt find any results with anyone mentioning anything about installing an aftermarket speedo. Thanks guys.

Frank
