i'd go with the microtech LT-12 for the computer.. i did
with a T-78/88 you are looking at alot of power but all at the top end ..... the rx6 or 60-1 seem to be popular.. do you have any engine mods???

You'll need the tubo kit, fuel system, engine management, etc.

Yeah thats to say the least, when I first bought my T88 kit, I did it because I was getting a good deal. I went into a small racing shop and they told me that they would sell the entire kit for 2700 including tax (it was this low b/c the shop is small and in order to stay and authorized greddy dealer they have to sell x amount of greddy products a year), and this was when the T88 kit had just come out. I though to myself that I would get it, install it and run 12psi and be happy, WRONG. One thing lead to another, and about 10k later here i am. Heres what i did in this order.

1.T88 Greddy kit (had to get downpipe custom made because greddy decided to use special piping that doesn't mate with anything other that there own midpipe and exhaust.)

2.Haltech E6k
3.Profec B
4.Radiator
5.Ignition
6.Fuel system (rp pump w/ rp secondary rail and 1600cc)
7.I got a UIM with 4 injector Bosses welded on, but everyone keeps telling me that it is overkill, so I have 720cc injectors in it, but not hooked up, I am hoping that I can do somekind of nozle setup, but those don't fit onto the boss, so I don't really know what to do with it anymore.
8.Tuning
The rest was labor. I think if I were to do it again the order would be different, but you have to realized, when I first bought the turbo system, I wasn't goign to do much. Hope this helps.

T88 will make more power and be a bit laggier and peaky... T78 is a better compromise in my opinion

seems like 400-450 is the average, but there are some on this site into the 500+ range, but that takes a lot of work and tuning.

yup 400-450 @ 15psi about normal.... 500+ requires race gas and 20psi of boost

how much laggier is the t88 kit compared to the t78? Say the t78 came on full boost at xxxx rpm, how much higher would the t88 come on?

for say 15-17psi
from what i've seen t78 around 4000 and t88 around 4500 or a little higher, (this is like 4th gear, neither will see full boost in 1stgear and it'll be later in 2nd and 3rd gear)

My 2 cents based on some experiecne and what i've read.

My T78 hit 10 psi (wastegate spring) by about 3500 and 15psi around 3900

no personal experiecne with the t88

if its gonna be a street car on somethign other than slicks, t78 is definitely a better turbo choice IMHO

The T-88 is considerably more laggy than the T-78. Go with the T-78 unless you plan on a bridgeport/high boost, in which case go with the T-88.
