Question How to put an aluminum gas cap and where to buy?

I was thinking about getting an aluminum gas cap for my fd3s but I don't have much info on where to buy it or how to put on. Any of you guys know the web site to buy one and how you install it???

I think that would look too ricy on a FD. I know Miata has a Mazda alum piece that looks good. Don't think it'll work for a FD though since the cap shape is different.

You can also use one of the Yamaha motorcycle's 99'yzf or something like that. Just double check with fittings.

Sparco makes a flip lid too in aluminum or black and funnels. Make sure it comes with the unleaded nozzle restrictor or you will fall a smog check, BTDT.

I have the Sparco racing gas cap

The cap itself is a bit smaller than the stock cap because my car is getting a paint job and bodywork it is also a good time to put it on. It is alot of custom work to put it on and the guy at the bodyshop have to custom some metal pieces to hook it up to the gas tank. The end result was good and the gas cap looks like factory and it is also have that polish look.

I like the way those gas caps look pretty good on 7's. The hardest part is the actual sizing for the new mar glass or bondo that has to be installed to incorporate the new cap. Good luck.

Are there any that don't require bondo or repainting to put on?

Here is the Sparco fuel cap but you have to do custom body work
to get it on right.

Goodridge has one identical to that Sparco - available with or without a name on it. Would be nice to find a bolt in replacement without the cost of the Audi TT's tho.
