Colder Spark Plugs?

Hey, I just upgraded to the jacobs 8.5 mm spark plug wires. It says on the box that you could increase the gap on the spark plug (I obviously can't do that), so do you think i could switch over to bur9eq's all around? would that be similar to gapping? Do you think i would gain power switching over, or should i stay with stock 7's for leading and 9's for trailing?

Plug heat has nothing to do with gapping, so no...

...and no, you don't want to run colder plugs all around. Until you're doing serious mods (like high boost or WAY advanced timing), the stock numbers are perfect

do some research on that....

not to say that no7yet is not right but i remember reading that mazda only put the bur7 for emission purposes. so if you have a full off road exhaust you might benefit from 9's all around, on the top end i believe. i have a TII and 9's are recommended all around.

but like i said i remember reading that 9's in a N/A would be good. **** our motors run so freakin hot anyways so any cooling modification you can do should be good, you know.

research it!!!!!!
