88 gtu ecu 86 gxl ecu

i blew my ecu in my 86 gxl and i was wondering if an 88 gtu's ecu would work in the car? or an auto 87 gxl

how did you blow the ECU? I think that they will work but they might not.

I'm not to sure but i think it was when we got the battery switch backwards and tryed to start it. she made funny noises then nothing.
I think the injector are not opening when i crank it over it gets spark,air, compression, but not fuel. i primed the fuel system 2 times. but still nothing.

got to get done and for sale so i can make my 3rd gen faster

An 86 N326 would work in place of your 88 N327 ECU.
