My stock cd player is going nuts. I want to replace it with a nice but not overly pricey unit. I just want something to play my CDs without skipping all the time as well as MP3 disks (that I have made from only my personal collection of legal and purchased CDs)
I have been looking but I have not found anything that is just a plain black deck. I don't want chrome with red lights and sirens I just want a basic looking deck in black. any help?

Its hard to find something VERY plain, but maybe you can find something there

 

I had the same problem. I wanted a black deck in mine. Could not find it. Also, could not find ANY that had red only for the lcd. The closest thing I could find is my JVC. It has some tasteful chrome or aluminum style buttons on a black face and it kinda matches the chrome bezels in my car. It does not skip, it plays MP3 , cdR and CDRW. Also has a LINE in so you can use a MP3 Hard Drive. I like it alot.

get a used sony es audio deck or some other older deck... all these new ones are too flashy for me too... unless u get a nak...

oh nak... how i want one so bad... btw it doens't play Mp3s...
