88 NA rx7 has high impedance injectors?

From this sheet I have it looks as if only the 1988 fc NA's had the high impedance 460cc injectors, is this information correct?

It seems to me a site like this would have a place for questions that are frequently asked, and have this kind of information readily available for the curious.

If you need the chassis number of the mid 87 model where the resistance of the injectors went from low to high, its chassis number 550169.

The chart you attached shows anything from 88 and up that were non turbo had high impedence injectors. Right? Right.

Any idea how I could tell the diff between the 2 high impedance injectors from the fc NA. In 86 & 87 it looks as if there were low impedance and they were purple, but also the 89-91 were purple but high impedance. Is there any distinction between the 2?

The connectors are differnt, the 89-91 ones are oval and the 86-88 ones are square.

Yes, I think that is a question that I or one of the other mods need to add to the FAQ for FC found at the top of the FC section... it comes up way way too often and people just don't understand how to search (of course some are too lazy to even look at the FAQ for FC or the archive before posting)

yes, but that is only for the 89-91 vs the 86-88.

The tab location on the injector plug is the way too tell. It varies based on type.
