Good Old Boost Problems!!!! (Did a search and nothing worked)
Here it goes :
Installed an rechipped ECU and an Apex dual champer BOV......This all worked great untill 2 days later when........
Im driving around and making 14 psi of boost, yield to a right turn and step on the gas....no boost.
stopped opened the hood checked all the hoses I could see....everything was cool. Drive it back home with a max of 1 psi of boost....I could hear all the boost leaking from somewhere. pull everything apart and couldn't find a loss house or any split hoses.
Switched the bov back to the stock one...no help
Switched the crv with the bov...no help
Funny thing...at 4500 rpm when the switch happen the boost stops leaking!! no woosh noise but boost stays at 1 psi!!

More than likely you have a boost leak somewhere. I've found that the best way to find boost leaks is to take some soda cans or tennis ***** or anything of the like, and put them in the intake hoses(from the airbox to the turbos). Clamp the hoses tightly around the cans. Next, get a blower nozzle for an air compressor that can have a vacuum hose slip on. Put the vacuum hose on the blower nozzle at one end and an intake nipple at the other end. Tighten the vacuum hose down with hose clamps at both ends. Turn the car on(not the engine though). Now lightly blow air into the intake with the blower. The air will have no where to go except where the leak is.
