Sorta of off-topic but here are closer pics of the knock-off Spirit R red-stitched and 100% genuine leather boots (I posted on these boots a few pages back) and authentic Mazdaspeed CF shift knob I bought last Spring '07. Looks great but ugh....I would like to have the real OEM Spirit R knobs and boots! :D

As I had mentioned in the original thread (which I'd hope everyone read), the Spirit R boots are an off-black, to match the Spirit-R dash. The E-brake boot comes with the handle; they are not separate.

It's not gray when you see it in person; it's more of an off-black. Very subtle difference from the black boot really.

Guys, I'm really REALLY sorry...got some really bad news... As of 2 days ago, Mazda Japan only had TWO sets left...and I attempted to purchase them, but someone beat me to it. There are NO sets left at all, whatsoever. I can still get the shift knobs from a hookup I know (he has a few in stock), and possibly the shifter boot too. But the E-brake handle and boot are a no-go... I'm real sorry :(
So I'll still see if we can knock out the shifter and shift boot for those who are interested. And if there's interest, I have 2 or 3 Spirit R steering wheels and a cluster (MAYBE two clusters) up for grabs too, which have taken me YEARS to get. ~Ramy |
