I was wondering if it is possible to get a printed receipt , declaring the value or whatever I payed for the RACELOGIC.
Personal documentation/ Insurance adjusting purposes. Thanks ~Jesse Juiceh, I'll bring both your questions to Ramy's attention. |
I talked to my insurance ajuster...
She said a paypal transaction that has the item purchased, FDNewbieImports.com buisness license number, a declaration of value and the price I payed. can you please mail that stuff out to me. Printed reciepts are a good idea for a buisness, why is this something you are not doing? |

No idea. You'll have to talk to Ramy about all that stuff since all I do is process GB orders.
Will do, thanks for everything! |

Is the Rice Racing programming for ABS units only or will it work in the non ABS unit with wheel speed sensors?

Got mine today.
I my FC 2-rotor kit didn't come with the users manual, just 2 copies of the Digital Adjuster user manual. :Wconfused My FD 3-rotor kit came with a digital adjuster manual and a user manual. I'm not sure if the manual is supposed to be different for my 2-rotor kit since its the wheel speed sensor Non ABS version.. Can I get another manual sent out to me? No rush, as long as the manuals for ABS & non ABS units are the same. Even if the manuals are the same I'd still like another for documentation to be included with my car if I ever sell it.. Thanks!

Printed reciepts are a good idea for a buisness, why is this something you are not doing? 1) We typically rely on Paypal for receipts at this point in time. I have yet to see a situation in which this did not suffice - except when you're dealing with Paypal :p: In fact, in the Fedex claims (for lost and/or damaged shipments) they specifically request Paypal receipts... 2) I have never heard of an insurance adjuster requiring that much information. And unfortunately, I can't even provide you with all of that info. Why? Because... 3) We don't provide individual invoices/receipts because we're still quite a small outfit; I'm only now working on a full large-scale website database that will enable use to provide you with an invoice automatically (as well as a shopping cart, automatic purchases & checkouts, status updates, and the whole 9). So I assure you we are working toward that point, but please realize that small-time businesses expand at their own pace ;) 4) The best I can do at this point is to provide you with a) an email w/ our Logo/Letterhead on it stating the details of your transaction (which can be confirmed with a Paypal receipt), and a link to the RL main website showing List/Retail pricing. I have done that for many a customer, and it has worked just fine...in fact, it's to your advantage to go that route (see #5). IMO, if your adjuster is going to be THAT picky and require THAT much information for each and every part, you're prob. better off finding another adjuster; that one sounds like a headache waiting to happen. 5) It's from my own personal experience that you're much better off listing MSRP/List/Retail pricing on parts rather than actual cost paid, because the former will give you Replacement Value for your vehicle (the cost it would take to replicate the car again), while the latter will only give you Actual Cost protection on what you have actually spent on your vehicle. Indeed, there can be quite a gap between the two (you may have $10,000 worth of parts on your car, but only paid $6,000 for them, so it's to your advantage to seek Replacement value, which only states proof of purchase - NOT A PRICE - and the MSRP/List/Retail value of the part). 6) Thanks for the positive feedback, but for future references, I'd kindly appreciate you witholding negative criticism in such circumstances (a positive feedback thread) for the proper venue (such as an email). Otherwise, it kinda negates the whole purpose of your feedback post, dontcha think? ;) Thanks, ~Ramy |
Mark, the User's Manual is a) the same, and b) on it's way to you :)
Thanks, ~Ramy |

Got mine as well BITCHES!!! HAHAHHAHAHAH :-)

I received a question about opening and using the RR file. Since I don't have a racelogic unit I'm not sure what's involved. Has anyone done this yet?
|
tell him/her to read the manual. it's all there. first few pages are on install, and the rest of the book is on the software usage (including loading up a software) and dialing it in.
|
Thanks!

More updates...
1) Hopefully we'll have the 20B programming done in a few days; it's almost done :) 2)

Thanks, ~Ramy What if we have bigger wheels?!? I'll be alternating running either 18's or 19's on the FD. Will this make a big difference in performance? |
You change it in the settings within the software.
|
is this sill a current GB? Or does anyone have a kit that they are looking to get rid of that did not get used?
|
What's the deal with the RiceRacing programming for the 20B? Is it still in the works?!?
|
Should be any day now... I believe it's done and he's just gonna double check it real quickly...
