Most of the Okinawa crew own different cars now but there are a couple nice rotor motors cruising the ROCK.

You will have to meet up with some of the Japanese car peeps here on Sasebo in order to find the nice rides with rotor motors. Most of the people on this base drive Skylines and S13/S14.

Hi. Just arrived in Sasebo a couple days ago from San Diego. I had an S14 while I was there but sold it so I could buy a car (or 2) out here. I have always wanted an FD. Would you possibly know a place I can pick one up? All I see on base are skylines (mostly ugly ones) and s14s. I love Skylines but I dont want to be like everyone else either. I havent seen a single FC or FD since I've been here. Unfortunately I'm limited in the places I can go (Navy Lodge and Port Ops building) due to lack of transportation. Let me know if you know someone selling one or where I could pick one up at. Thanks.

I've been here for a minute lol, I found another rotorhead stationed here in CFAS he's attached to one of the BMU or ACU can't remember, but I got his number, once I get more info I'll let you know, I'm on The USS Juneau, PM for more info.

If you want a good deal on an FD you'll have to do some searching! What's your budget?

Your best bet is the try the local lots. You can get a decent '92~'94 FD with nice parts for $3.5k to $6k.

My budget is in the $5k-$6K range. I've been to a couple lots already. The only one I've found wasn't for sale. It belonged to the owner of the lot. Nice tho. I'll keep looking. I've only seen one FC on base. There really aren't many rotor heads here are there? Rutt, you have a bug-eye STi, right? Any idea where I can find a good deal on one of those? I saw a black one parked behind the Commissary yesterday. Any chance that was yours?

Yeah, the Black STi is mine! Bugeyes still sell for $6k~$15k depending on the OEM option parts, aftermarket parts and the year. I might be going to *** next weekend to see a friend's new rugrat so I'll check out the lots while I am there.

Rutt, I saw your car again yesterday at the post office with who I assume was you standing next to it talking to some other people. I'm going through ICR this week so I was passing by in a bus. Also, I'm told there is a car sale coming to the base next weekend. Do they ever have decent deals at those things?

The car sale in the Clinic parking lot is a huge ripoff! Thye have those car marked up by 25~50% and most of them are pieces of ****. If you want a Honda Accord, a minivan or a nonturbo Skyline then you better make your way to the sale...hahahaha

Check the boards in the Post office and in bldg PW47. There are usually lots of cars posted there.

I was at the Post Office picking up the block for my Honda (turbo DC2) that I shipped up from Oki. I'm gonna send it to Golden Eagle so they can repair their faulty sleeveing job from years back.
