I am moving to Seoul in about ninety days and planing to ship my FD I need some info on registering my car.

My FD has large street port, reinstalled OEM injectors and OEM twin turbo, HKS V mount intercooler, HKS intake, HKS twin power, ProfecBII,PLX wideBand, Apexi ECU with commander and FC Edit. And OEM JDM Recaro seats. RE Amemiya body kits. Works VS wheels.

Any information on Emission and what is required to register would greatly appreciate it

 

im moving to korea next week im planing to buy a FD there. Im shipping my FD engine. For military personnel we just register car on base no emissions check. Sent from my iPhone using RX7Club

 

I'm not on the military....so that's not an option for me. Back home I have a buddy that lives on non emission county so I just use his address and it work out for the last 17 years.

 

i was told for for off base, nonSOFA. The cars has to be ODB2. Im flying soon once i get there i will get you the info.

i found 1 for sale but i found out i have to drive 50 miles a day back and forth between Army base I'm going to be stationed and the base housing (25 miles away). Im going to need a different daily driver. it suck because i have a New rebuild FD engine coming with the household goods.

Heading to Korea as well might get a Dec 1 report date with an early report of Oct 1.
Not sure where I'm gonna go yet. I'm a Fister (13F) and I looked up the different spots I could go for my MOS. 1 slot down in Camp Humphrey's, 1 slot at Osan AFB, 2 slots at CRC (Camp Red Cloud) and the last spot is Camp Casey.

Just got here couple weeks ago and have not seen a single FD. Currently at Yeouido, do you know where the FD's are?

 

the japanese import i see are owned by Soldiers. we are able to buy them and bring from japan.

Sup Angel I got my assignment and I got Camp Casey I hope I can get Young Sun once I get there if not its all good. I got a report date of Jan 12 2015 but I will get probably 60-90 early reporting.
