Korean Rx7 Owners Look
where are you located in korea? that'd probably be a good start! btw, there is a fairly large RX7 group that meet once a month in Seoul, which mostly consist of FD owners....actually...almost all of them are FD owners.
Trevor:
Welcome to Korea! I live in Seoul and have a '93 FD. As Hansaysso has already said we mainly have FDs in Korea. I think there are about 50-60 FDs, and I haven't seen any other rotaries yet. So, I'd be curious to see your FC. If you're interested, I'll update you on our next informal RX7 owners meeting.
As for my car, I'm currently replacing my blown engine, but the car should be up and running by next month.
Cheers, Hoon.

Oh hey I bet some of you guys have cars tuned by Mr. Uehara at Wise One Auto. In fact he left to Degu last week until this monday to go tune 4 GTR'S and 2 FD's. We also built a couple FD's and one FC for Seoul customers. I don't recall the shop that Mr. Uehara does the tuning out of in Seoul but I think it was GT something or other and they have an FD track car. I would love to see some more pics of the Korean rotary scene and cars! If you have a chance please post some up in a Korean Rotary scene thread if you can make one!!!
Ya i will do, i have met one guy here with a 97 FD and i have been helping him to get it running, and when i meet up with more i will post pictures for you. Ill make a thread.

Im currently in Daegu and I saw 4-5 FDs rolling around in my area.. Few were riced out to da MAX.. I mean... damn... But one i've seen (Sprit R color) looked very nice..I would love to meet some FD owners in Daegu and talk bout cars. Do contact me if you have one near Daegu or plan to come down to DAegu... I was told that the Red sun shop is in Daegu? I'm thinking about getting another FD in Korea but ones on sale online looked HORRIBLE...Yet, affordable though....

Ok so here are a few pics of two of the 3 FDs i have seen in Korea.
The black one is owned by Mattchan6668 and the SIlver/grey one is owned by pacatkhp. I have met both of them, and they are both down to earth guys. Hoon (pacatkhp) has got one of the nicest FDs i have ever seen in person. And he is currently doing an engine swap. So i hope to see it running real soon. Matt (mattchan6668) has got a right hand drive, i believe it is a bathurist from Australia, but he is currently removing emissions to go non-sequential and doing some mild porting on the wastegate. Here are the pictures.

In Seoul here. I work @ G-LUX in cheongnam-dong, gangnam-gu...they have nice cars here but more of the higher end types, but I've always loved imports, esp the JZA80 Supra, RX7's, and GTR's. When/where do you guys meet up?
hey i'll be back in korea for the winter (spend time with family and such) PLEASE tell me theres some kind of meetup this month, i'd love to see what the tunning crowd in the hometown k-town is like!
I just PCS'd to Korea with the Army and sadly they didn't let me bring my FD but I'd still like to go see them in person and meet some people around with more knowledge then me. I'm stationed in Yongsan which shouldn't be far at all from a meeting place in Seoul. Just need some more information. I've also been searching around to try to find someplace to watch races or drifting. Any info and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
