I didn't see any FD's while I was there but I did see a lot of Benzos, Bimmers, Porsches, a couple Ferraris, a couple Fake EVO's (Virage with an EVO body kit), way too many FWD Cefiros and many cars not worth mentioning.

Taiwan is depressingly worlds apart from Japan in spite of the 2ish hour flight from Okinawa. Rutt is spot on. Plenty of ritzy cars and the rest are boring. Sort of like being in America.
Taipei has about 1 Benz for every 10 people living there. It has to. They are freakin' everywhere. As far as modified cars? Mostly dress up stuff. Hate to say it, but a lot of the Ford Focus' (or is that Focii?) there are not too shabby. But it's all relative because there isn't much of anything to talk about there other than the billions of scooters and crazy junkcarts with the homemade spoked wheels.
Okinawa has what? 5%~6% of the population of Taiwan. Yet there are probably more modified cars on this little rock than there are there I'm willing to be. But don't let that keep anybody from going there. It's a great place to visit with plenty of deals to be found and the people, in my experiences, are terribly friendly. I'm looking forward to the next time I can go out there.
