I'm going on a 2 week road trip with two other friends through Okinawa this summer. We're planning on renting a dinky automatic kei car from some small rental company if they'll still give us a decent rate- we're 19 so most places won't even let us rent. They've been advertising rates of $250 so we're hoping we can get that. We're also going to be couch surfing/camping for the majority of the trip. So with that do you know any great driving roads we should explore? Any local sights you highly recommend? Anybody want to volunteer their house for us to stay one night ?

Any tips will be much appreciated!

ps If anybody wants to offer a better, more entertaining car, well I'll take anything, just let us know how much you want for it!

Just do the loop around the island. Hwy 58 if I recall, should take you a few hours to lap the coast. Fun trip
