I've got a Veilside front bumper, the stock plastic lower bumper mount dosent line up with the veilside bumper, i grabbed a sheet of aluminum on my way hone from work today, (48"x48") id like to fab a bracket to help hold the bumper, has anybody done anything like this before? any tips on mounting locations?

 

If you are using 6061 then make sure the bends are not too tight of a radius or else the aluminium will crack. 5052 works great for projects like this.
