using no maf of afm
 
basically i dont want to use a maf or afm anymore. that usually mean running a standalone or upgraded ecu or similar. im trying to fine out which one is 1. the cheapest and 2. the easied to use, thanks :Wconfused

i ve been tuning cars for about 10 years. i ve owned a shop,i use to build dsm's. this is my second turbo2 but this time the car is going to be a street legal race car so i know some stuff. thanks for the reply. :)

Oh, in that case I can help you choose one. Of course, each model is a bit different, but if you answer the below basic questions I can point you in the right direction.
1. Since you don't want to use a MAF or AFM, are you looking for a speed-density or alpha-n system?
2. Do you need closed-loop, or is open-loop OK?
3. SFI or batch?
4. How many injector leads and stages do you need, and are they going to be staged by MAP, RPM, or other?
5. What is the minimum resolution needed for your fuel and ignition maps?
6. Do you plan on running a CAS, hall, optical, or 60-2 wheel?
7. Do you need to run split timing?
8. How many PWM outputs do you need, and do they need to reference any particular parameters?
9. Do you need ECU boost control, and if so what control parameters?
10. Do you need a CAN or RS232 interface?
