I have been doing research and so far I have narrowed my options down to the haltech E8 or the Apexi Power FC. I just wanted some feed back on which route I should go. I know the haltech is nuts very impressive but so is the price tag that is why I am wondering if the Apexi is a good ECU because of the lower price tag. I am doing a TII swap on a 1990 fc and I will have 720cc pri and 1600cc sec going to running a 3.5in stainless straight pipe and I am either going to be using a TO4R or a TO4Z on a "big" street port 13b-re. I have any and all other supporting mods.

 

I had the same question for a while but just recently purshased the e8 ill get it this week sometime , i have the same swap , re in to 87 t-2.

 

let me know what you think of it when you get a tune. how much did you spend? brand new?
