HKS F-CON used with PFC?

HKS F-CON used with PFC?
Would anyone know why someone would use both combo together? I had a wrecked CYM FD3 that had the HKS FCON plugged into a Apexi PFC. Was gonna use the PFC on my FD and ditch the HKS.
What generation HKS F-con do you have.
If its one of the older ones, 100% ditch it. IF its one of the newer ones, and you can get a tuner with the software. Then just keep the Fcon5 or similar . ( down side is finding the software , or tuner with software to tune ).

Yea I believe its a much older one, since I see nothing that you can adjust / tune on it like a **** or dial. Now to find a PFC harness, since I don't wanna splice up the one from the hks. =P
