Which ECU are you using? and why?
I'm researching an ecu replacement. My latest drive has convinced me that the stock unit has to go, and has to go soon. I am turning my '87 FC into a super-car (slowly but surely). I'd like to know why you chose the ECU you chose, and whether you would repeat the decision, or go with something else now.

Haltech E6K
Best support for boosted rotary applications Best specs for the money Will upgrade to the E11 once everyone else plays guinea pig. :) If I suddenly get rich, I'd swap over to MoTeC in a heartbeat. -Ted |
What makes MoTec so great?

Previously, E6K on the FC (one of the few in Texas back a couple of years ago).
Currently, AEM on FD. I want to try a new EMS and be one of the few to try out something new. E6K has good support because the application for rotaries is widely used. It's a very straight forward console. AEM has some cool features and programming features. J |
Just got my Power FC. I am in the process of getting it tuned. The Haltech's are nice, but you have to run premix because you won't be able to run your oil metering pump anymore.

It's an S4, so my OMP will not be affected by the computer swap. Thanks for the heads up though. Why'd you chose the Power FC?
