first off, flip your ball joint to the top of the control arm.. that will give you more movement on it, not causing you to hit full deflection on it.. second, can you put more spacers on the top of the hiem joint to lower the pickup position on the stud coming off the spindle?

someone relaly needs to come up with a RCA for FC's!! i've been looking into it, but i can't come up with anything that doesn't require real machining/fab (of which i have no access).
why do the 240s get all the cool parts :( |

i'll give it a shot, thank you for the tip! as for spacing it, i'd be lucky to get 2 small washers under it to bring it down... the superNOW ends are small, so it might strip. i'll try to get a picture up, and get your take on it (i trust your judgement far more than mine since you've done this 1,000 times over) i wonder if i'd be able to replace the end with a universal heim joint that's lengthened to bring it down like you're saying? i would think it would put more tension on the end though, maybe causing it to break over time, but idk. (i'm assuming the end would be like 2-3" lowered) but by the time i "rig" it to work, i might as well just send you money and OE cores and have you make me a set of spindles and call it a day. |

the reason i ask, is because i have all of this (below) from driving my car on the street and it was black. http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._5525472_n.jpg |
Yea I don't know what it is but Chicago and Chicago suburb police just don't give a shit for some reason. They seriously never hassle me and I drive it every day there's not snow on the roads. :dunno:

thats how vegas used to be... i had my missile NA street car that never had bumpers, BLACK windows, and 3" straightpipe/header, and i never got rolled...
black TII fresh aero, looking decent, with non tinted glass, and i get rolled nightly. i got rolled pumping gas once... like wtf. oh well, props to you man! car looks dope! need to post more often! i miss when vegas used to not care. now theyre cracking down super hard. |
Vegas used to not care?
That's some hefty shit buckey! (tickets) |
i guess it's just my karma for the 8+ hour nightly street drift sessions i never got caught doing...
'08 was hot fire. since then they've hired on (seemingly) 1,000 + officers... |
Looks like they dont even give a reach around anymore. Was that a too low ticket or what? Do they go by headlight distance? If that's the case, raise the headlights. Keep the car low. Tell them it's "their loophole". Haha. No, dont do that. They'll hate you even more for being a smart ass.
I was driving on belts, sparking, exhaust hitting the ground every 5 seconds for about a month now. What did i get pulled for? Wearing skull candy skull crushers while driving jamming to deadmau5 on my phone. Slap on le wriste. Oh, before i forget. This has nothing to do with the thread. I dont care. Unless you're NA, you should not be throwing this much camber on 205's just for the sake of fitment. Tires last twice as long if you remember to flip them though. :) http://www.axcessmypics.com/photos/p...16500b336c.jpg |
it was the too low ticket. (among other things like illegal rear view mirror etc)
the car was never measured.... i measured it last night, since it's lower than before, and the headlights are 1/2 ways up now (they were all the way up at the time of stop) and theyre @ 22" right now @ the center. NV law is 24" which FORSURE my lights were at. but like i said they never measured... it was an "opinion" citation. |
And I thought the police were bad in Utah ...
One pig tried picking my car apart after pulling me over for a taillight being "out" - the running light part worked fine, but the bright filament was out on one bulb of my S5 tails, got jerked to the curb and when he noticed my registration was from Cedar City, he started picking the bastard apart. Got away with no citations, but he was still being a douche about it. |
damn buckey, you need to learn how to argue with cops and show them that they are fucking with someone who knows more than they do.....i never get tickets, just pulled at least once a week, well, i did when i had my mistress.....(rip)

Definitely keep a book of regulations with you so when you get jerked to the curb, you can point things out. I grabbed a Utah State Safety Handbook from my little brother who does inspections, and the last 4 times I've been pulled over, I busted out the book and pulled hard numbers to show I was in compliance.
