Hell ya Tung is my ninja, I've driven with him for years we both started the same time in S13 hatches. We're all driving out to Jersey together unless I wreak or blow something up in the next 2 weeks LOL.
the end of the month cant come soon enough.

met dereck today for the first time.. After going to ECB my 3rd or 4year now, this event was the most enjoyable. Being able to talk to someone about rx8s and rx7s was awesome.
Definitely inspiring.
I dont think im coming out tomorrow, so a ride along will have to wait till next year if you come!

Alright im gonna back track a few weeks since ive been so busy.
So we did this demo on really late notice and it turned out to be alot of fun. It was nice not having to drive 2-12 hours away to slide plus alot of local friends and family could go.
AND MY FAVORITE PHOTO from that day, Me and my son Ash
I had a radiator hose pop off during the demo and ended up frying my coolant seals. I drove the car home and then had 4 days to pull the motor, dissassemble, clean, reassemble and put back in for East Coast Bash!
So we did this demo on really late notice and it turned out to be alot of fun. It was nice not having to drive 2-12 hours away to slide plus alot of local friends and family could go.

Monday pulled the motor and ordered new OEM coolant seals from Malloy Mazda
Tuesday dissassemble and cleaning
Date that the PO had the motor built (Pineapple Racing) 6/12/03 making this motor untouched internaly for 9 years
rear clean front nasty gunk from overheating
Wednesday reassembly
Thursday motor went back in and aslo added dual oil coolers
Friday on the trailer headed for New Jersey. I was pretty humbled by how awesome my friends are. In 4 days we pulled this off by working on it pretty much day and night. When I was at work allday they were there (mostly Tony) getting **** done. I seriously have the best group of friend in the whole ******* world. There was seriously 1 person working on it at all times and some times as many as 5 people.

We get the cars loaded up and right as we leave Fort Wayne a Tornado hits.
Tree on a Van
11 1/2 hours later and 1 blown trailer tire we get to Englishtown NJ
7am right when we arived at the track photo by Dave NJ
Unloaded and set up camp for the next 2 days
Headed out on track, This was my first time at E-Town and the track was a blast to drive
Shot off track and blew up some aero than drug it around the rest of the run
started driving some tandem with the Cam and some of the D Faction dudes

Battleing the Heat was the worse part of the entire event, so we got some fluids and food then the sun went down. Then night sliding went down.
Love this picture pretty much gives you a feel of the whole event
Ate some pig and enjoyed some beverages then headed to the enclosed to sleep on cots.

Woke up Sunday hot as **** but it was time for more important things.
People were still doing anything they could to stay out of the heat

DK having a car that was actualy working until 2 gear blew up
Me driving my at this point missle looking FD
Tung was throwing down all day in his 4AG ITB hachi, he was in a 6 car train when somebody fumbled and stopped infront of him with no where to go his door made contact with a S13's rear quarter
Some one lost a bumper right in front of Camden so he helped them get it off the track what a nice kid
Over all ECB was hot as hell but a great time, I plan on going back and hanging out with some old and new friends. GOOD TIMES
