The ones in the pic are Crown Victoria wheels, 16x7 +6.
I'm picking up a set of Work CR Kai Emotion replicas, 17x9 +17 and +38. |
Crown vics are a +25 offset. I prolly woulda kept mine if they were +6. Buy they still look great.
|
were do you get crown vic wheels at and how much do they usually go for?
|
I bought them from a guy locally for $100 with tires, but they usually go for around twice that, if not more. Are you sure they're +25? Everything I've read says they're +6.

Got a new fender, put the hood on, and actually drove it on the street some. Feels awesome. |
Sure as the offset +25 stamp on the inside of the rim....check it out. As far as where to get em'. Craigslist is where I found mine. I've sold mine on here and have seen many other sets for sale in the for sale threads. Also check junkyards. Unless someone doesn't know what there selling, they are spendy. I sold mine for $375 w/ tires.

I'm like 99% positive the Vic wheels are +6. Unless you're talking about the stupid wheels that came in the generation after mine with no lip.
And yeah, I got a stupid good deal on them. Cool thing was, the guy knew what he had, he just hooked me up hardcore. Yeah yeah, rattlecan sucks whatever. As much as I'd like to shoot it with a gun, my air compressor isn't big enough and it's gonna get fucked up anyway. The wheels are silverish stock, I painted them gold |

These are my old wheels I sold to SOdrifter. Idk what car they came off of. Crown vic or gran marc. But they had +25 stamped, along with a made in Italy and some other Ford crap. I guess they must have two different offsets... |

Thanks man!
Got tires mounted on two of the wheels I just got, I'm going to run them in the front for Mineral Wells and get the other two on after the event. Attachment 696252 Attachment 696253 The rear sits WAY lower than the front with the Crown Vic wheels, but I think with the 17"s it'll even out the height. Specs are 17x9, +17 offset, and when I get tires on the other pair they'll be +13 effectively with spacers. Just running some cheapish 215/45/17's for now. Also threw one in the back for a test fit. hehehehehehehe Attachment 696254 |
now those are the wheels I would realy like to run! lookin like jeremy lowes fc now lol.

Exhaust is on! Sounds great and is super quiet haha. However I'm having problems with the front coilovers. The lower mount holes are slotted for more camber, and whenever I'm drifting, they get loose and slide back and forth and fuck up my camber. I've tightened the fuck out of them and they still do the same thing. Any ideas what to do? |
Maybe a lock washer?
|
what brand of coilovers are they?
|
I think I'm going to get lock washers, lock nuts, and locktite the shit out of them. And use a better impact and torque the fuck out of them.
They're PBM's, love the quality and how they ride. This is the only problem I've had so far, and it's not really the coils fault. |
Did you slot them yourself?
|
Nope they come slotted
