And btw, Dousan's car is a 240sx copy of MINE! Get that straight! HAHAH.

...2 quick questions....
-which muffler setup do you use? (i cant find one that the 13b keep sppiting baffel plates out the pipe)
- how well does that grounding kit work out 4 you?

We might not want Dousy to read that, haha. Yeah screw heat shields, shit will look rad at night. It will be like HIN under your car.

Dorifto_PG 06-06-08 01:31 AM

Grounding kit works great!

The exhaust is. Corksport, or Racing Beat, or something else like that. Its the loudest thing on Earth.

Kalifornia087 06-06-08 11:17 AM

Your car kicks ass. Thank goodness for the few pit pass sections on ZT, it's good inspiration.

Gotta be Corksport. That shit made my neighbors know I was coming home 5 minutes before they could see me.

Dorifto_PG 06-06-08 10:30 PM

Yeah Corksport. It starts up and scares the shit out of the raccoons that live at my house.

Dorifto PG...your hard as hell to get a hold of. Used to live right around the corner from you passed the Ross shopping center and never got a chance to kick it. Oh well!

needs to be lowered a good 2" all around at least, some camber in the rear will havin it lookin pretty flush. whats the dimesions on the rear wheels?

turboefini88 06-15-08 09:41 PM

The rears are 17x8.5 +20 offset. running 215/45/17's gives a nice stretch on the tires. :D The tire on the right rear in the pic is a junk off brand. Its there to be burned off next weekend. lol

I also have 16x6 with about 30 decent tires in the basement for practice days. Gonna order up a few sets of the Federal tires ss595s for competitions.

you could safely run 18x10(offset 0-8) and 20x12(offset 0) ....

tires are cheaper for 20s compared to 19s!!!

Tatakai 06-19-08 10:22 PM

yea but everything over 17 is twice the price -_-

damn dude. he doesn't have a blister kit. i don't think stock front fenders would allow 18X10 +0 "safely"

TechTrix 06-21-08 01:03 PM

18x10 front wheel will rub all over the place, you wont have any steering angle... well at least my car is too low to run 18"s in the front

Tatakai 06-21-08 04:01 PM

anyone have an idea how well the wheels i plan on getting will fit? going for hella flushness.

17x8 +28 in the front
17x9 +17 in the rear

probably 20mm spacer on both, (especially the front so i don't hit lca when i turn) with 215/45-17 ss595's

Derek King 06-21-08 04:04 PM

17x9 +0. car is dumped to the point where everytime i hit a bump the rail directly above the tire rubs and drifting i get front tire smoke off the fender and tire boogers all over my windshield. fun shit

Zenki FC3S 06-21-08 04:14 PM

Derek King, put in some work massaging the inner fender where it rubs with a air hammer, itll give you that oh so fresh non rubbing feeling down there.

goreify 06-21-08 06:40 PM

cj and bro stab where are you

Kalifornia087 06-21-08 06:51 PM

+1 on that ^

Damn all these pictures. I need to get my pos off jackstands.

dude cant you tell that shit is already rolled and pulled out. im talking about the frame rail directly obove the center of the tire.

the 17x9 +17 with 20mm spacers will stick out a bit. these are 17x9.5 +15 w/ 225/45/17 are ok. going to 215/40/17 in the front for clearance purposes. you can get a scope of around your 9's will be.

How the hell do people even get tires on that or off that matter without scraping the wheel to hell? Thats got more stretching than Pamela's tittys

dkwasherexd has the same kit as me, and im siting on 18x10 and 18x11 w/ no rubbing anywhere.... i also get a full lock when i turn both ways... i had kinda figured it out when Pawlack was drifting on 19&20s

i used to have a hella stretch... (2 quartes from inner lip)

Derek King, to me, you passed the usable flushness test bro, but if it were me... id make the fender hit the rim ;)

RE TurboII, front fitment is good... but dammit man, is she running yet? running engine before wheels is my motto..

DRFT_HRD 06-22-08 01:13 PM

My buddy josh runs 18x9.5 with like a +24 and he they work fine and come out just a small amount from his BN sport kit.

RE TurboII 06-22-08 05:23 PM

presto she should be up soon. thanks to all the political shit going everyones sending out ballots meaning i get more work which is more hours for me. post office is only worth it when we get alot of mail. shes going to the shop tomorrow actually :-D

Mine is the red 89GTU and yes they are Rx8 18s with a custom set of spacers I made

Turbo II Rotor 06-22-08 08:31 PM

You should bring it down to E-Town some time.

Zenki FC3S 06-23-08 09:35 AM

yeah massage the rail where it rubs with an air hammer. or hit it with a sledge hammer.

junito1 06-23-08 01:21 PM

When will drifters learn stretching a tire is not good setup for drift.

Besides the possible distruction of the rim, that tire could slip right out of the lip and cause it to go flat instantly. Not a good idea when your going 60mph sideways=D
