And btw, Dousan's car is a 240sx copy of MINE! Get that straight! HAHAH. |
...aperently im not a rx7club commoner
...my bad lindsay... ...2 quick questions.... -which muffler setup do you use? (i cant find one that the 13b keep sppiting baffel plates out the pipe) - how well does that grounding kit work out 4 you? |

Grounding kit works great!
The exhaust is. Corksport, or Racing Beat, or something else like that. Its the loudest thing on Earth. |
Your car kicks ass. Thank goodness for the few pit pass sections on ZT, it's good inspiration.

The rears are 17x8.5 +20 offset. running 215/45/17's gives a nice stretch on the tires. :D The tire on the right rear in the pic is a junk off brand. Its there to be burned off next weekend. lol
I also have 16x6 with about 30 decent tires in the basement for practice days. Gonna order up a few sets of the Federal tires ss595s for competitions. |
lol i photobuckep shopped my car lol
|
damn..i wish ihad bigger wheels....17s are too small for BN... i need like 18 and 19 setup...with deep lipand small tires.....drooll.....more $$

18x10 front wheel will rub all over the place, you wont have any steering angle... well at least my car is too low to run 18"s in the front
|
anyone have an idea how well the wheels i plan on getting will fit? going for hella flushness.
17x8 +28 in the front 17x9 +17 in the rear probably 20mm spacer on both, (especially the front so i don't hit lca when i turn) with 215/45-17 ss595's |
17x9 +0. car is dumped to the point where everytime i hit a bump the rail directly above the tire rubs and drifting i get front tire smoke off the fender and tire boogers all over my windshield. fun shit
http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...kkamira202.jpg http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...kkamira204.jpg http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...kkamira213.jpg |
Derek King, put in some work massaging the inner fender where it rubs with a air hammer, itll give you that oh so fresh non rubbing feeling down there.
|
cj and bro stab where are you
|
+1 on that ^
Damn all these pictures. I need to get my pos off jackstands. |

i used to have a hella stretch... (2 quartes from inner lip) http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...07dec21027.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...07dec21031.jpg Derek King, to me, you passed the usable flushness test bro, but if it were me... id make the fender hit the rim ;) RE TurboII, front fitment is good... but dammit man, is she running yet? running engine before wheels is my motto.. |
My buddy josh runs 18x9.5 with like a +24 and he they work fine and come out just a small amount from his BN sport kit.
|

Mine is the red 89GTU and yes they are Rx8 18s with a custom set of spacers I made
|
You should bring it down to E-Town some time.
|
yeah massage the rail where it rubs with an air hammer. or hit it with a sledge hammer.
|
When will drifters learn stretching a tire is not good setup for drift.
Besides the possible distruction of the rim, that tire could slip right out of the lip and cause it to go flat instantly. Not a good idea when your going 60mph sideways=D |
