Bang the hell out of it and then widebody/etc?

I've been worried about tapping the rear just because of the body paneling. Too many little curves and shit for a novice body worker to make em puurty again.

So far just my front bumper @ PIR.
Rub strips and huge ass drainage thing. Duct tape, spray paint, and 2 part epoxy fixed mine :)

First crash, hit the rear corner on the wall and bounced the front end in. Replaced rear 1/4 panel and pulled the front out.

Then first event after getting everything fixed and painted, tagged the wall getting that outside clip at HIN Tampa on like my 3rd run, and then popped my motor like 2 runs later :(

Then went to D1 Miami and had a really bad weekend, and totalled the car.

I got the car driveable, but it was pretty much done. Chassis was bent pretty good, but I kept driving it like this for the rest of the year.

Then at some point I blew a rear tire and tore my good rear over off, and then doing a test drive down the road at the shop my hood blew open and broke my windshield and the cracked my hood. Can't find any pics though.

It was a pretty serious zombie for a few months.

Then a couple weeks ago at a local event I was being really careless (driving an already junk car, what do you expect?) And did this:

So now it's officially done, but I've been working on a new chassis for the past month, and it's going to be so much more legit.

I have yet to really smash into anything... we run on a road course here in NJ and there are not many walls... I've done my share of landscaping though. I'm such a noob.

Man this is sad, my car is down right now from crashing+drifting.

Haha yea, the sides and rear on my red car now are from that same kit. I have NO IDEA how that aero holds up so well.

Last weekend I was at Phoenix Intl raceway and drove on flapping/delaminating tires and the worst I had was the paint was gouged to the metal on my door(don't stick you hand out of drift cars for this reason)

Unseated both tires on my pass side and was left with -6/+1 rear camber thanks to my toe arm being bent into seriously a "U". JTP hooked it up with a huge hammer and after some wailing the car was half decent again (subframe was fucked and chassis was still tweaked, swapped chassis that winter). Car drove well enough though! (i did not)

thats whats up, i was really close to that happening to me on my s5 n/a as well. i caught it b4 it completely ripped.

damn ilia.. Ive broken halfshafts, diff mounts, and stub axles, but never a driveshaft. Congratz bro

Yea I guess it just got fatigued? I can't remember anymore if this is the driveshaft from my black car or not. The trans is for sure from my last car, and if the driveshaft is too that means it's seen three seasons of street and track shit.

almost lost my n/a driveshaft that way too.

Makes sense.

We're shocking the driveline with clutch kicks and on and off acceleration. U joint is a weak point compared to other things.

I wonder if your pinion angle had anything to do with it dying?
