Looks like this guys specialise in Right hand drifts .If you let this guy do Left hand drifts he will end up in the ocean.Also these guys are bad actors, if this director tried to copy others he should of had stunt men kicking in those fenders in with a pipe wrench or something make the video interesting,what bad acting and bad drifts he did....LOL.

To me subbies are not awesome, I drove an 09 STI as fast as I could push it over a 15 mile technical touge course here in the bay area and was not impressed. Hopped back in my pile of junk S4 and had twice as much fun. Anyways this is just my opinion... I have touged many different cars over the past 5 years and have found Rx7s to be my absolute favorite. Again my opinion not trying to offend you sorry if I did.

Come on guys I am not looking for a flame war. Here in the bay area are tons of canyons to hit up. I have been doing it for the last five years since I got my first car.

One night up on the hill the guy in the STI asked me to race with his car he just bought so he can see what it can do. I couldn't turn the offer down so I took it for a spin on the downhill course. It is about 10 miles long or so. It was fast as hell and I beat everyone else that was there (about 10 other cars)... but still after I was done I told him I wasn't impressed and that I like my FC better.

Yes the course (Old Calaveras) is technical, it is my favorite touge in the entire bay area. Ask anyone who regularly touges around here and they will vouch for it being very technical. It has a LOT of blind sharp turns and no gaurd rails most of the time. I have seen more than a few cars go off the cliff due to a misplaced line.

Come on out and I can show you around! Many fun touges around here:

Mt. Hamilton - It is about 2 hours long and an Rx7 can't do the entire thing due to poor fuel mileage

Sierra Rd. - One option of getting to Old Calaveras. I avoid it because it is not very technical, we joke that only noobs race on that road.

Metcaf road - You gotta be careful in the beginning as there is a private school and a ranger station.

Pagemill - Runs along foothill college, bad choice to go during the day due to lots of traffic, but very fun and the length is not too bad.

Skyline, highway 9, highway 17, bear creak, old santa cruz highway - All part of the hundreds of miles of touge that connect the bay area with santa cruz.

Redwood road - VERY FUN, perfect back to backs for drifting... I can post some vids if you want, also very long to.

Fun means nothing, of course your modified FC will be more fun than an STi because you can afford mistakes, you've modified and tuned it for your preferences and the equal weight distribution generally makes the car easier to drive at the limit. That doesn't necessarily mean its a faster CAR. Besides, drive on a grave/mud course and the STi will destroy the FC.

Ive driven built FCs and STIs on a race track, not some fag road.

They both rule.

@ KhanArtisT I didn't say an FC was faster than an STI. I think having fun is all that counts and to me a sporty FR layout car is fun. I have driven thousands and thousands of vehicles in the past 5 years and have aquired a distaste for any car that makes power to the front wheels. Mike (guy with STI) actually went and bought an S13 a week later and now takes that up on the hills as well as his STI. He came from 2 miata's prior to the STI.

If I wanted super win I would go and buy an FD and dump thousands of dollars into it. I went and test drove one the other day and didn't buy it... I donno I just love FCs... I am on #5 and will probably continue to own more lol. I do miss the turbo power of my TII that I recently sold so I am gonna swap a TII engine in a couple of weeks. ya funk, calavares is hella fun, i like redwood just because its so close to me, after awhile of driving on those roads, they get easier and easier and you get faster and faster. fuck all the haters, but i have driven an 06 sti, 06 evo 9, fd, datsun, my fc was the most fun of all of them.
